The information on this page will serve as your welcome packet. Before we get started, we need some additional information from you. Please read this entire page to ensure you are properly represented in this year's Art Walk! If you have any questions, please contact us: (719) 221-9893, or by email.

 

1) Business Description

Complete the following form about your business by clicking on the button below. Once completed (close the popup window), move on to #2. This should be filled out by everyone!

 
 

2) Demonstrations, Classes, & Live Music

Are you planning on having any demonstrations, classes, and/or lectures by artists during Art Walk? If NO, continue to #3. 
If YES, click the button below and complete the form. If you are hosting more than one, fill out a separate form for each, click "SEND" once each is done, and add the next.

4) Venues having opening receptions on Saturday

If you are one of our participating galleries, and you will be having an opening reception during Salida Art Walk's Opening Receptions on Saturday, June 24th from 6 - 10 p.m.*, complete the following form with your information.
* (the 6 - 10 is the general time we are advertising, but you are welcome to host your reception at any time)

 
 

The Details

The question everyone asks right away is, "Are the streets going to be closed?" NO. We will not be closing any streets this year.

Salida Art Walk has evolved over the years to welcome all of the arts disciplines. We welcome the visual arts, performing arts, film and the culinary arts.

There will be no stages this year. Musicians and performing artists have been encouraged to busk and individual businesses are also encouraged to hire local musicians for their opening receptions or to play on the street.

Salida Art Walk is June 22 - 25, 2017.
The High Country Bank kick-off event will be held on June 22nd (see schedule below)

Save the Date cards will be distributed by Memorial Day Weekend.
All locations will receive posters directly following the Save the Date Cards.
The week before Salida Art Walk you will receive banners and info packets, as well as the programs.
Programs will be distributed in the mail directly to homes in Salida, Buena Vista, and Leadville.

Art Walk After Dark Promotion

From Thursday - Saturday all art sales of $25 or more receive 1 BUY ONE GET ONE FREE drink ticket and FREE admission to Art Walk After Dark at Solcraft Brewery. You will receive promotional materials and tickets the week of art walk.

The Opening Receptions

This is what Salida Art Walk is all about, the art walk itself. Galleries, Artists' Studios, Restaurants, Bars, Real Estate Offices, and even Clothing Boutiques host a variety of receptions for their resident artists. Many offer refreshments and local music.
