Gallery and Artist Scholarship Program

The Salida Creative District has teamed up with Salida Art Walk to offer a scholarship for their entry fees into the event.

90% or more of your business must be in the creation and/or selling of art to be eligible. You must also complete three upcoming classes (May 8, 15th, 22 from 4 - 6 p.m.). Classes include a detailed introduction to this year's marketing efforts, a class on sales techniques (closing a sale), social media, and client retention techniques, and a class on merchandising. You are welcome to send an employee or alternate but all 3 classes must be completed.

If you do not wish to participate in the scholarship progam,  complete the standard venue registration.

Class 1: Salida Art Walk - A detailed look at marketing efforts for the event, the overall push for this year's event locally, and how we can all assist in the marketing efforts together to make it stronger.

Sunday, May 15, 2016, 4 - 6 p.m.
Class 2: Merchandising for Galleries and Artists - Internationally exhibiting artist, merchandising instructor for over 20 years, and art studio owner Marie EvB Gibbons.

Sunday, May 22, 2016, 4 - 6 p.m.
Class 2: Client Retention, Sales, and Follow Up - We will things that every business can do to close sales, retain customers, and how to follow up with engaging content.
