Each year during Art Walk, artists bring a bit of their studios into the streets... or sidewalks. Many locations throughout the event offer a range of artist demonstrations as well as DIY hands-on projects and classes.

From pyrography to painting there are a variety of events throughout Salida that are sure to give you a glimpse into the skill and passion of the Upper Arkansas River Valley's creatives.

Puzzles and Pie!

Opening Reception for the interactive community art project “Puzzling Evidence; New Connections.” Inspired by the phrase, “We each hold within us a piece of someone else’s puzzle”, shop owner Suzanne Rittmann designed her puzzle and has distributed pieces throughout the Upper Arkansas Valley community. Each piece is a unique work of art, as are we all. She hopes new connections will be made as people arrange and rearrange the individual pieces in countless combinations. Celebrate the completion of this project with pies of many types and sizes, because pie brings people together like nothing else! Pizza, savory and sweet pies all represented!

Local brewer, Soulcraft Brewing, hosts this year's Art Walk After Dark and presents Eugene-based Sol Seed. Sol Seed makes the most of the Jamaican tradition, using reggae as its backbone.
